Activities undertaken
- Food security – Roti Ghar, Odisha (Food for Peace).
- To ensure that 50 cyclone FANI island families in Chilika lagoon have immediate access to food, one meal a day – besides dry rations for survival.
- The Bollywood singer Guru Randawa came forward with Chinu – Khushiyaan Foundation to provide one meal per day to 50 Dalit island families as they have lost everything due to cyclone – houses, domestic animals, crops etc.
WASH / Hygiene Kit
- To ensure that at least 5000 families in 3 island villages in Chilika affected by cyclone protect their dignity and maintain personal hygiene practices.
- 2000 women and girls provided with dignity kits with Sanitary Napkins produced by JRP- the legal umbrella of MasterPeace Odisha.
- 500 Household toilets broken due to cyclone were repaired.

Strengthening Humanitarian Response after Cyclone FANI in Odisha
- The extremely severe cyclonic storm that made landfall on 3rd May in Puri, Odisha was one of the rarest of the rare summer cyclone.
- 51 people died and 5 million people & 14 districts of Odisha affected.
- Houses have been damaged by FANI cyclone besides damage to the standing crops such as summer Paddy, Pulses and vegetables.
