JRP works toward increasing enrollment of out-of-school girls in school, increasing retention rates of girls enrolled, and improving learning levels of children in grades 3, 4 and 5.
We have been working for mainstreaming education of street/slum children and child labour, inclusive education for children with different abilities and promoting compulsory primary education among tribal children etc.
So far we have enrolled/ mainstreamed 1000 child labors, 500 slum children in regular schools including 200 girls and 100 children with different abilities in schools under our inclusive education initiatives. We also implement education projects titled “Educ-Action” and “READ” to reduce Early School Leaving (ESL) and social exclusion among marginalized children through innovative non-formal education programmes.
